Jul 14,  · 3. Psalm Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. 4. Psalm My honor and salvation come from God. He is my mighty rock and my protection. People, trust God all the time. Tell him all your problems, because God is our protection. 5.

The word “rock” is used about twenty-four times in the book of Psalms with reference to God. Here is an example. “Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower” (Ps. ).

" One foot in the Grave " is unusual in film and TV productions in that (almost) every episode is at the same location and extensive use is made of exterior and street filming. The location, although fictional in the series, is also a real place is of interest to anyone studying the series. Most of the comments seem to concern the poor visual.

First and foremost I am a lifelong fan of One Foot In The Grave; I will happily watch repeats and have many treasured memories of the family gathering round every year for the Christmas special however despite even having David Renwick at the helm /5.

Feb 19,  · “But my lord’s soul shall be bound in the bond of life with the Lord your God.” The idea behind this concept is based on how Israelite shepherds would keep tabs on their flock. Because shepherds didn’t always have the same number of sheep to look after, each day they’d care a bundle or package and place a single pebble inside for each.

One doesn't often see a burning rock. The Psalms frequently refer to God as a rock. This image emphasizes, first of all, God's strength. A large rock is solid and strong, just like the Lord. Thus, a rock can provide security, a "fortress" and place of "protection" (Psalm ). You can hide upon a rock when being pursued by enemies.

You continued looking until a stone was cut out without hands, and it struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and crushed them. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were crushed all at the same time and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away so that not a trace of them was found.
